For the past one and half months…
1. Research lab was fun! Learnt alot despite not getting good yield for my peptides. Research opportunities are indeed greater in UK than in Malaysia and more lecturers are involved themselves than I could see back home.
2. Had a different Chinese New Year this year…a CNY with all lectures and workshops as usual…no holidays
Our batch hosted an open house in our residential halls, inviting all home students and lecturers. Went well and everyone had fun…& most importantly..it snowed!!! twice in fact! which made everyone crazy! haha..
3. Strathclyde Cup debate was cool!! Seen good debates…had a really good buffet!! It is weird to see that the host of a competition doesnt send out any representatives. & i got to meet with the Strathclyde’s principal himself…who was really frenly..
That pretty much sums up the interesting stuff in previous weeks.
Time really flies…realised as u get older…more troubles and worries would come…& responsibilities get heavier…hmm…but it’s a fine learning process though..
